The Vufine Vision Aid Glass by Yishai Silver
Yishai was able to successfully create a DIY vision aid glass. His detailed tutorial on Instructables has been viewed over 40,000 times and received first place in the Raspberry Pi Contest of 2017. Yishai was very excited by this because he was a longtime Instructables user before this t was a huge honor to be recognized and celebrated by this community.

The Vufine AR Kit is an easily assembled DIY headset that is powered by your smartphone. Simply select the desired AR application and strap your phone into the AR Kit to experience it as a full-blown augmented reality headset. The optics present your screen in a crisp 75 degree field of view. By avoiding the limitations of stereoscopic optics, the Vufine AR Kit utilizes the full resolution of your smartphone and is completely open source for AR apps. Whether to use with existing apps or to encourage development of your own, the Vufine AR Kit is able to enhance your augmented reality experience.

Happy New Year & Vufine+ Launch
Happy New Year, everyone! 2016 was a great year for us – we launched our first product, Vufine, and successfully returned to Kickstarter with our second product. At the end of 2016, we fulfilled our Kickstarter backers’ rewards from our Vufine+ campaign Vufine+ launches on January 5th! You still have four days to pre-order this wearable display at a discounted rate. After launch, Vufine+ will retail for $199. In other news, the Vufine team will be heading to Las Vegas

Thanks to over 1000 backers, Vufine+ has been fully funded on Kickstarter. We wrapped up our campaign after raising over 201% of our targeted goal. We are so grateful to our backers for helping make this dream a reality.

Filming in San Francisco
Last week, we had the great opportunity to film a brand new Vufine video. The filming was all done in San Francisco, and we were were fortunate to have the amazing city as our backdrop. From commuting on the Muni, to flying our drone at the beach, the city was a beautiful place to capture some of Vufine's many use cases.

How many of you have been swept up by the Pokémon Go craze? Here at Vufine, we all had the game downloaded on Day 1. Regardless of early server issues, we've been out since then using Vufine as our very own PokéHUD to make sure we're keeping our eyes forward instead of glued down to our phones.
